With the release of the new IPBES intergovernmental assessment on the state of environmental and social biodiversity the necessity for humanity to take a step back and reassess the role it plays in relation to the earth is paramount to our survival.

 

The report aims to emphasize and centralise the importance of local knowledge and biodiversity as a key factor to face the current global issues.

 

Here at Conscious Change, we believe that all individuals have the power of action on changing their own environmental impact and influencing larger communities or policy makers. But we believe the choices that make the difference must be backed up by accurate knowledge and evidences.

This is why we, Edinburgh University Conscious Change Society, aim at providing the local knowledge and tools for student decision-makers to reduce their environmental impact through their everyday choices.
