How about no gift?
Our next post will focus on the environmental dangers of over-consumption at Christmas, and how we should look beyond it in finding ways to enjoy the holiday, and presents often naturally fall into this category. Of course, if gifts are your thing there are plenty of sustainable ways to give! Instead of a physical present, you could get someone tickets to a concert or experience that you know they'd love, or perhaps vouchers for a restaurant you know they've been wanting to try. We can all sometimes feel a little pressure to be the most eco-friendly as possible, and at Christmas time especially you shouldn't beat yourself up for not always managing. If you want to give friends and family gifts, that's great! If you don't, also great! We hope you have a merry Christmas and can't wait to see you all again in the new year. CC :)
